Astigmatism is a condition where the cornea is irregularly shaped causing distorted vision. A toric lens is specially shaped and designed to provide 2 different powers to the eye to correct this vision problem. This toric lens has thin zones which minimize lens rotation to provide clear, stable vision and good comfort and it also comes in high cylinder powers for people with large degrees of astigmatism.
